Yesterday Yesterday, I was standing, Smiling brightly looking at the sky, Without knowing the next day, I was terribly drowning Asking for help Almost die. Yesterday, the hope nestled in my heart, The wish whispered in my mind, The faith instilled within my soul, That is when I felt the darkness seemingly crepted up, The agony laughing, walking in line, The misery suffocated me with feeling raw, So I struggled looking for the lights, Holding on to the vague good side, Even when I knew I could be dying—within a flash, could be out of the sight. And yes, yesterday, Yesterday I was feeling full of love, Looking at the world with my genuine smiles, Letting myself lost in a world full of the sweet lies, And while grabbing onto that thin string of hopes, Starting my journey now still in miles, So I could still live in this world—dancing even with the devil Rooting on this beautiful life.
