YESTERDAY
Yesterday
Yesterday, I was standing,
Smiling brightly looking at the sky,
Without knowing the next day,
I was terribly drowning
Asking for help
Almost die.
Yesterday, the hope nestled in my heart,
The wish whispered in my mind,
The faith instilled within my soul,
That is when I felt the darkness seemingly crepted up,
The agony laughing, walking in line,
The misery suffocated me with feeling raw,
So I struggled looking for the lights,
Holding on to the vague good side,
Even when I knew I could be dying—within a flash, could be out of the sight.
And yes, yesterday,
Yesterday I was feeling full of love,
Looking at the world with my genuine smiles,
Letting myself lost in a world full of the sweet lies,
And while grabbing onto that thin string of hopes,
Starting my journey now still in miles,
So I could still live in this world—dancing even with the devil
Rooting on this beautiful life.
Sweet lies
